The state of Mississippi is one of the major states in USA. The location of the state is at the border of the state of Alabama. The name of the state has come from the name of the river of Mississippi. This state is also popular to the Americans with the name of the “the Magnolia State”. The Gulf of Mexico and the state of Louisiana are the neighbors of this state. This state is also the center of the beauty in the countryside in USA. The East Gulf Coastal Plain is the main portion of the landscape in Mississippi. This place was actually a place for the native American tribes like Choctaw and Chickasaw.
