Birmingham Astronomical Society

Birmingham Astronomical Society in Birmingham, Alabama aims at educating the public about astronomy. The society was founded in 1977 by a group of astronomers. With this idea in mind the Birmingham Astronomical Society was formed in 1977. Since its origin the society has gone through sea change and is now become the most reputed club of the city. The monthly observation of the society is called star parties which is held at Chandler Mountain. This society has helped the common people to know more about astronomy.
