The Talladega Super Speedway is sports complex or more specifically a motorsports complex situated in Talladega, Alabama. It was established in the year 1960 in a place that earlier served as the airport runways of the International Speedway Corporation. With a length of 2.66 miles, the Talladega Super Speedway is reputed for being the largest oval track in the Nextel Cup series and can accommodate over 175,000 patrons.

The start/ finish line of the track is placed after the pit exit and this unusual position has changed the course of many races. The track can be visible from Interstate 20 while the International Motorsports Hall of Fame is adjacent to the Superspeedway of Talladega.
The Talladega Speedway is today recognized worldwide and recently, it underwent construction on the pavement of the racing surface and the apron. The reconstruction started on 1st May 2006 and was completed around September 18th of the same year. The John Deere 250, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on October 7th was the first race after the renovation of the speedway.
The Talladega Super Speedway of Alabama hosts several races, the Nextel Cup and the Busch Series being the most awaited events. Again, after the summer of 2006, the Talladega Speedway had to be repaved for the upcoming series of national and international races.
